Development

Every second is a chance to grow.

Watch mechanisms represent the passage of time as dictated by astronomy. To me they also represent the development of human beings: time changes constantly and marches forward, and so should we.

Time is a teacher and an inspiration to evolve and become better people.

The name

C A B R E R A

CABRERA was the family name of my grandmother's first husband, and is also the name of my cousin. Watching over us from heaven as guardian angels, both have inspired me to find my way in this life.

The story

From Valparaíso to Stockholm.

The beginning

Stockholm is the birthplace of the brand, but the story starts earlier, in Valparaíso, Chile, where I was born. After two years in that rugged, beautiful region, my mother and I moved to Sweden.

II

Growing up

A watch was once just a way to tell time. Then a friend's passion for the complexity of the parts awakened my own, and from him I bought my first watch, which I still own today.

The first lines

In the summer of 2015 I began to draw my own watch, combining what I loved most from every watch I had owned. It is a timepiece I am proud to call my own.
